Returning after the inaugural edition in Amsterdam, this year's SteemFest will take over Lisbon. Enjoy, meet and learn from fellow Steemians through the conference and social events scattered across several locations in one of the oldest cities of the world.
The full program consists of two conference days (each day at another location), multiple social events, a hackathon, the DIY Citytrip weekender where you can explore Lisbon via our guide or by yourself and to top it of a closing dinner on Sunday 5 November.
For a steemy 24 hours, developers, designers and conceptors will work at LX Factory / Co-work Lisboa on proof of concept apps for the Steem and other blockchains. Results will be presented on friday at SteemFest Conference Day 2.

Festival Wristband check-in closes at 24:00 and continues on Thursday 2/11 at the Conference's reception desk.Tired after your trip? Meeting fellow Steemians will energise you back up! The garden of HF Lisboa will be our dedicated place for the opening drinks.
You can continue to pick up your badge in the Meeting Room area of HF Lisboa.In front of HF Hotel Lisboa, coaches will depart to the Conference Venue of Day 1 - Centro Cultural de Belem.

Registration continues at the Conference venue's check-in desk. Bring your (digital) ticket if you have not yet exchanged it for a wristband + badge.

Get on the bus for a ride to SteemFest Snooker.
Snookerclub Lisboa is the place to be tonight. Some 80's hits. Superbock. A game of snooker/pool or darts and have a chat with fellow attendees. Let's have a ball!

We are going by busses to Castello area. The busses won't be able to drop us off in front of the venue, due to the curly roads, so a little walk up the hill in Lisbon's Castello area.
Many individual interest events today or none, just how you want it! Chill down, decompress, explore lisbon (use the SteemFest mobile app for a guided tour), check off the 'must-see' visits on the SteemFest printed map, go for a surf, visit nearby Sintra
Also, Volvo Ocean Race is in town, if sailing is your thing, explore the make-shift harbour in downtown near the bridge "Ponte de 25 abril" where the Village is setup. Last year's SteemFest help Freddy is running that show btw!
At night, grab a bite and explore Alafama and go for a party at Casa Independente
